Help Wanted!

Saturday, May 16, 2015

By now, I'm sure you've all heard of GoFundMe- the site that helps you raise money for different causes, medical bills, and other stuff you might need money for. Well... I've finally broken down and signed up for one.... because I want to expand my Etsy shop and sell in-store items now instead of just digital files online.

This is a BIG deal to me. It's something I've ALWAYS wanted to do, but haven't really had the time or resources to do it. Now I have the time... and I just need the resources. That's where you come in!

Selling physical products carries a lot more cost than selling digital items. There's a thousand things you never even think about that you need to provide when selling in-store, such as shop setup, cellophane wrap, chipboard for support, shipping supplies, and so on. It gets expensive really fast! But that hasn't deterred me! Expense or not, this is something I want to do so badly- I just need a little bit of help!

I'm extremely excited at the idea of finally being able to open up a space where I can sell my stuff to a larger audience, where I can create more efficiently and let my imagination run wild! It will be an awesome and amazing adventure, and I want YOU to be a part of it!

If you donate $20.00 or more, I will personally email you a code for a FREE digital file from my shop. Just leave your email address in the comments section, follow the link below, and find something you LOVE!

Even if you can't donate, please SHARE! On Facebook, Twitter, Email.... The more people that see this, the merrier! Thank you SO MUCH!

Graduation Day

This post is a shout-out to my big brother Cody, who has been through everything you could possibly imagine. Between serving a tour in Afghanistan, getting a full ride scholarship to the University of Utah, being selected for a pilot slot in the Air Force, and finally graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering, he is the DEFINITION of the word ACCOMPLISHED.

We've been able to have some really good times with Cody and Rachelle being here in the last four years. Several trips to Newport Beach, movie nights and all sorts of summer shenanigans means that it will be pretty hard to see the move to Mississippi next month. But we know they'll do awesome things and Cody will be able to complete his training there. It's a BIG DEAL and I'm so proud of everything this guy has accomplished.

Three out of us four Steele kids have Bachelor's degrees.... only one more to go!
